Tara Leniston

Tara Leniston, originally from Ireland grew up all over the world traveling with her family for her father’s work. After attending Drama school in London England, Tara was the first female Westerner to be signed by the Jackie Chan agency in Hong Kong at the age of 18. Having enjoyed a successful career in Movies and Television, Tara gave up her acting career when her son, Dylan, was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two years old. Since then Tara has dedicated her time to learning all there is to know about autism, and how to help her son. She is an autism advocate and helps support local families in her community to come to terms with an autism diagnosis. Tara is a big supporter in raising money for the National Autistic Society in the UK, even facing her own fears of heights and abseiling off one of the tallest buildings in London last year.
