Rachel Melville-Thomas, MA ACP is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and spokesperson for the
Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP). She has 30 years of experience in the UK, USA, Switzerland, and France and is a mother to two children. She qualified from the British Association of Psychotherapists and worked in the NHS for many years, in clinics and then at University College Hospital (UCH), London, helping children and their families understand and cope with illness, surgery, and chronic disease.
She also has extensive experience in Child and Family Psychological Services, schools, special needs provision and in private practice, working with a wide range of child and adolescent difficulties. Rachel has a special interest in children's everyday worries that occur in life, and also works extensively with children with social communication difficulties.
