    Jake Hitt

    Jake Hitt is a senior at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He majors in journalism with a specialization in sports and media. A Florida native, Jake grew up in the small town of Sebring with dreams of working in sports someday. He graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Sebring High School in 2015. Jake serves as a member and committee chair for the Florida Cicerones, a student ambassador organization for the university. For his day job, Jake works on campus at ESPN WRUF as a radio producer. Also, he is a reporter for the station through his college’s immersion programs. He enjoys the company of others, loves music, and is a Gator through-and-through. His favorite music genre is old-school hip hop and he attends almost every Gator sporting event, especially Florida Basketball. Above all else, Jake prides himself on caring for the ones he loves.
