Dr. Elisa Cruz-Torres, BCBA-D, is a Visiting Professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL where she also serves as the ABA Program Coordinator. Dr. Cruz-Torres has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families. As a certified behavior analyst, former middle school teacher, and clinician for individuals with autism, she uses her diverse experiences to consult with educators, advise students working with the ASD population, and supervise individuals seeking to become behavior analysts. Dr. Cruz-Torres has presented on various ASD-related topics at the local, state, and national levels and co-authored the chapter Working with Behavior Challenges in Counseling Adults with Autism: A Comprehensive Toolkit.
