    Bilikis Banire

    Bilikis Banire is a PhD student at the faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in Hamad Bin Khalifa University, part of Qatar Foundation. She is currently leading Qatar Foundation’s innovative project to non-invasively measure the attention spans of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Bilikis was awarded an MSc in Software Engineering with distinction from the University of Malaya in June 2014. Her thesis investigated the software development framework for designing a computer-based learning application for children with ASD. During this period, she worked with Faqeh Autism Center in Malaysia and Abu Dhabi Autism Center, as a volunteer and researcher. Prior to this, she worked as a back-end developer for an e-business consulting firm. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering at Lagos State University in 2008.
